You need the pilot training after this.
CPL or PPL does not matter about your technical studies.
But engineers with pilot licences are highly sought after.
Whereabouts are you located? You might get better information posting your query in one of the aviation fora.
Generally speaking, though, most commercial pilots do have engineering-related degrees.

Just do the course, at the same time to acquire a PPL. Join the Singapore Flying Club. I think you qualify as a junior member.
Even SIA pilots selections, they give preference to Flying Club Members & SAF pilots. Those that complete their NS and has at least a diploma level education.
Or, do the reasonable thing and go get into the universities after your NS in Singapore then apply to join SIA.
And btw, without a diploma at least, you can not be accepted anywhere, not even overseas.
On another note. If your interest is never in doing any diploma, going to the universities or serving your NS.
Then forgot about them. Just fork out your money for the PPL and then the CPL courses. PPL is USD10k in three months, not including rentals, licence fees, whichever stuffs.
CPL is mostly sponsored by airline companies. Like in the SIA Pilots thingy.
Airforce is your other option, but you did ever mentioned you do not wish to attend NS. And Airforce are selective of their pilots so your chance of turning pilot in the airforce, with your school results so far......I give you 5 percent chance.

Yea i also want to do airforce in army.By doing these will it give me a higher chance of becomming a pilot?
Yes, do the course and if you can afford it, do the flying club thingy.
And when you finished the diploma, got the PPL, go for NS, or sign on as airforce regular to do your NS with airforce and be in the pilots scheme.
Or, sign on to airforce now, so your ns at the same time they are sponsoring you for the diploma. Chances are, you will be trained as a engineer, not a pilot. And its up to you to later try to put yourself thru the SAF pilots selection.
I understand from SAESL, ST Aviations, SIA Engineering, you need to have completed NS before they can sponsor u for a diploma in aviation. Your flying licence is your own expense.
Fellow biker is a air steward with SIA, and he is flying, retaking his O levels to proceed up to 'A' levels so that he can apply for SIA pilot selection. He completed NS.
Why dont you go search for the website?
If you cannot do your own research, what makes you a good pilot?
Ok, since you edited. No. I've not know Singapore Flying Club taking parents CPF as payments for course fees. They operate more like a hobby.
And technically, PPL is not CPL. And unless you have some licenced technical background, no company in the world will hire just a PPL holder.
You can make consider flying chartered planes, but then it will be your own business, which means you need about $$$$ on standby.
Because you are this young, so I am only going to do this for u only once.
No info? You handicapped? Cannot speak? No hands? Cannot pick up a phone?
Go do your diploma, redo the 'O's and save the money up for when you are with the club and flying.
Lessons, plane rentals, fuel & services, pilots equipments are not cheap.
Even if you do get into SIA pilot training.
Landing a plane, damaging a cam shaft is roughly 1/2 a million dollars. Are you expecting your parents to pay for you?
Originally posted by Sadboy777:anyway what do they mean by “Those going to a Polytechnic should apply immediately after the release of the GCE ‘O’ level results. They must have sent in their application to the polytechnic.”
It means what it says.
But if you still cannot compute that.
Then please advise us when you are a pilot flying. We will avoid that plane.
Someone who cannot understand or conduct themself with some reasonable initiative and understanding........is not a safe person to fly with.
Mainly technician / engineer...pilot its another thing altogether...
BTW, why did you post this in Singaporean overseas? Or is this a overseas diploma or a overseas flight school we are talking about?
Originally posted by Sadboy777:sry,i dont want redo my O’s..are there any other ways?
Sorry, I reserve my right to not say any more stuffs to people that has no ability to impress me with their attitude to life.
But i've not heard of a diploma pilot course....maybe you can check with the Airforce?
I've never heard of it either.
Pilots are licenced, not diploma graduated.
