the recipe is from S'pore cooking cookbook. it's a great book. i use it a lot. the next time u visit sg, u may wanna buy it. alternatively, u can use prima taste. :)
sujee cookies
ingredients
455g ghee
340g icing sugar
795g plain flour
method
1. cream ghee and sugar for 5 mins, add flour and knead into a soft dough. leave covered for 4 hours
2. preheat oven at 120 deg c
3. shape into size of marlbe. put on a greased baking sheet spaced well apart
4. bake in moderate oven for 20-25 mins
5. cool on wire rack and keep in airtight container

dessert that i made to take to a friend's last sunday. i don't know what to call it. the bottom layer was mashed tapioca roots. the topping was pandan custard...the kind for kueh sarlat.
