Landed in Beijing at minus 17?
Can someone explain? I watched an episode of Star Gate, and one character says that minus degrees in Ferenheit is the same as Celsius? Is that true?

Not true.
The only value at which Farenheit and Celcius temperatures are equal, is the point at which their scales cross, which is at -40°C/F (rounded).

Thank you.
So if lets say someone measured a minus 43 celsius, it means also its a minus 43 ferenheit?
Or just only at minus 40 for both.

You're forcing me to recall math formulae that I've long forgotten.
To convert °C to °F, the formula is: °F = (9/5) * °C + 32
To find what -43°C would be in °F, we plug -43 into the above formula:
(9/5) * -43 + 32 = -45.4
So -43°C is equal to -45.4°F.
To convert °F to °C, the formula is °C = (5/9) * (°F - 32).
Easy, huh?

vk, it's not the same. Think of it this way, freezing point in C is zero. Freezing point in F is 32. There you go.
Thank you.
I really am living in too hot a country, with nary a chance to deal with cold........

Okay, STOP right there. If you're going to take off more clothes, please do so in the privacy of your bedroom, and not in a public venue.
continue streamie, I'm still watching
Expected high of 63°F today. Looks like spring's getting an early start. Woohoo!
I forgot to update.
I just chopped off my long hair last week.
Was thinking that I look like crap with the hair, and because of the kids, no time to go perm, so chopped them off quick and easy one morning when sis & kids are still sleeping in during the morning.
Then my sis kicked me out and now I got plenty of time, but the hair now too short to style into whatever pretty style.
Not as drastic as when I shaved bald. But still short enough to startle some people.
However, my landlord didnt realise anything different till I purplely go over to him and ask him "See anything wrong with my hair?"
Men.......
Its still freaking humid hot in Singapore. But short hair just mean I can take more shower without shampooing too much.
