How does -21°F (-29°C) strike you? That's what it is outside right now. And the expected high for today is -4°F (-20°C). My furnace has been running continuously for just about the entire night--I'm not looking forward to my natural gas bill for this month.
I understand that certain parts of Antarctica are actually warmer... might have to consider a vacation there to warm up.

Its the age old marketing ploy.
Have bikinis shown on winter month, to prepare the folks going to warm countries during the winter, and to allow for people to buy and fantasize about being in tropical waters while its still winter.

This does remind me of being in a outdoor hot water pool and the hot tub jacuzzi at Whistler MOuntain and watching snow floating down.......in a tankini.

Another frigid morning: -20°F (-29°C). This is getting old. My winter beater was making all sorts of weird and unsettling noises as I pulled out of the garage...
On a positive note, it's expected to warm up to a positively balmy 8°F (-13°C) by this afternoon.

today i WALKED outside for about 20+++ minutes. because we missed the bus and the next one wouldn't come till 30 minutes later =(

Its been so hot today!
The neice was soooo cute! And my nephew was surprising!
In the end, mummy, daddy and the kids went into the backyard pool for plenty of water fun. Its like 83 ferenheit.
And I am here on the bed, in the guestroom, folding laundry, listening to my mp3 of erurobeat/eurodance downloads.
I am soooooo beng!

We'd rather not have the warm breeze from SoCal if it's going to bring the smog too...
It actually got up into the lower 20s yesterday, and in true Minnesota fashion, there were people out it bermudas and sweaters. I actually saw a few of them in the Best Buy parking lot in the afternoon.
