now that i have a microwave, i can make chef boyardee!!!
hahaha >< have always wanted to try that...
O ...... K .....
remember.. nothing sealed, nothing metallic, nothing radioactive, nothing combustable in the microwave...
and use only microwave-safe plastics of better still, stoneware or ceramics...
wear oven mittens to take things out from there coz it gets disgustingly hot very quickly in there..
you can try cooking in the microwave too. but beware of stuff that turn explosive in the microwave like eggs, grapes, etc
Avoid heating water in the microwave too...

why? 2 min to 2:40
try it.. only with a lot of precautions...
just like supercooled water, water can be superheated...
it may look like it's okay and nothing's happening to the water but a slight movement causes it to "boil" causing the water to overflow the container...
or if you are going to put stuff in it like a tea bag or instant coffee, the boiling point of those things is lower than water.. and may cause the hot liquid to instantly boil over and scald you...
The cup can get pretty hot sometimes.

actually you can. but not just water alone. you need to put in things to break the surface tension.
its easier to boil water with the electric boiler. hehe.
