  Haha, you sound a little like me. Go to a nursery and 'point point point'.

  But then go back home, no idea how to fix it up. I live in an apartment so all my plants are in pots on the balcony. They all die really quickly so I was like f#@^ it I'm going to just buy fresh flowers and bluff my way into the greenie world.

  So, yeah, its just buy flowers, stick in vase, arrange, leave for 5 days to look pretty, dies, throw, rinse and repeat.
  Lucky you, you've got so many pretty flowers to freshen up your house!
