thanks, yah, this year's garden has nicer flowers. it's good that we plant annuals so each year, we can change the theme a bit. but we do have some perennials too. :)
aiyoo i was looking at the food......
Beautiful flowers. :)
I've never been blessd with a green thumb. It seems like every plant I come into contact with dies in a week or two even though I try watering it.
Beautiful!!!! Thanks for the distraction, streamie.
then who did the planting? haha..
got pics of the garden? not only the flowers la. hahaha
Very nice, LS!
But is there a section of your garden set aside to grow weed that can be, um, smoked?
mi not a fan or flowers, so i didnt even intend to look in this thread. but i did.
and i was rewarded with peektures of food k!! hahaha =P erm...wat's in the green roll-up kways...? i think it's shredded coconut stuff right..?
but i have to say...the last peekture. with the orange flowers. those are nice =)
tsk oni think of food
those are called kueh, not kway
orh.
whats the diff between kueh and kway? when do you call something 'kueh' and what do you call something 'kway' ?
kueh is kueh in bahasa melayu
if u more stringent, its actually kuih
as for kway its more used in chinese words
like kway (chicken), kway tiow etc etc

it is never kway, always kueh if you are referring to those Malay/Nonya delicacies...
