What would be considered a cheaperest money for value meal.
I thought Costco Hot Dog and Drink for $1.50 is worth the money.
it gives you the sugar, transfat. can't get any better!!!
kosong roti prata
I miss my primary school meals. 50c for a bowl of noodles, and chicken nuggets were 20c each. =(

cheapest meals here are the ones we cook at home. Dining out can be expensive.

Pls lah not the good old dazes... cannot compete. I remember when i was in Primary 1 n 2 my pocket money was only $0.20 - $0.25 cent $0.15 for food and $0.05 for a glass of cold colored drinks, $0.05 cent for sour kana kana to enjoy in school bus.
erm, by toronto's standard, i tink this can be considered cheap bah.
1 lai tong (soup), 1 bowl of rice (typically, one gets charged for a dollar), a dish of your choice (selection from seafood, meat or veggie)
for C$6.
you have a choice of eating in (get free chinese tea but then u gotta tip) or take out (no tea, no tipping).
best part? walking distance from my house. chefs are from china and food is wonderfully delicious too although a tad salty. always gotta add this sentence "siew yim" or "sao yen".

ps : forgot e place called wad le.. got quite alot of area have it..
i think $1.90 for set A ? got chicken wing , rice and egg.. if not wrong..
Jiak Hong cheapest..... it's free >.<"
Instant noodles as a poor student ba -_-"
Here if we go to $0.99 cents store. we get 8 packet of instant noodle for $0.99 cent. Now can't beat that.
Buy 12 eggs for $0.99 cents and buy 1 packet of hotdog for $0.99 cents
so Do your math. if you cooked 1 packet of noodle drop an egg and 2 links. How much u think it cost?
I think over here a minimum of $5.00 is needed to get lunch. unless u go for $0.99 cent burger.
kraft mac and cheese for 22 cents a packet ? ...
now that's seriously nasty stuff .... it's the ang moh instant noodles ..

i've never had costco food! though you know sometimes it smells sooo gd...........heehee. and the pizzas look not bad.
erm....we can get some dunno-what-brand-really-tiny-packets of instant noodles at $1 for 2. but you need at least 2 packets to fill u up. i'd rather eat a dozen timbits....
nah....things in pluto are not cheap at all........things in toronto are so much more affordable =p

2 plain roti prata, $1.40 ( 70cent each). Tasty and filling. Most roti prata stalls still sell their roti pratas at reasonable prices
