I have to tell you, my old passport was a joke. Two passports pasted together (back page to front page) and then, tied together with the same string found in bolster cases. Then to make it official looking, just by the knot, there was a seal bearing some official looking immigration logo. Do you know how many odd, suspicious looks and questions I got everytime I flew? And we fly often.
Wasn't that hideous?!??! I can't tell you how glad I am to be finally rid of the thing!Originally posted by Arapahoe:is it because the visa is in the old passport? i had that once. no choice. jetta what is ur e-mail address?
$52 and an extra $19 for return Fedex service.Originally posted by Arapahoe:how much did u have to pay to renew?

The questions are nowhere as nosy as the ones appearing in the passport renewal form, but they are still worth a chuckle or two.

they even need a woman who is under 21 and married to fill in something i wont know where to find one....
it actually reminds me of local schools. how at the beginning of each year, the teacher would send round this stack of papers which would state things like: parents+my names/occupations/citizenship/address/telephone number/etc and there'd always be some nosy person who'd go through the whole DAMN list.
i hated it
