We have 2 ppl died from road accident around our area as there is a huge fog form and the visibility is very bad. The highway was force to close for some time after the accident. In USA, there will be alot of suituation u cant imagine so exercise caution when driving and stop at a safe place if u think u cannot manage to carry on driving due poor weather.

Other parts under a flood watch. I'm lucky because there's no such danger where I am. I have a 2-car garage so my cars are fine. Sorry to hear about yours. I hope you managed to get the water out.

well.. student visa need to be approved by us embassy..... not sg....
i dunno... it seems there seems to be clashes in the rules... if u google... and did some minor search...u r able to get a student visa while in usa... when accepted...
but it seems tat the rule does not apply to singaporeans or so.... cos im using visa waiver.... or some sort.. i dunno.....
so now... i think i might have to go get student visa in sg's us embassy...
not sure if i can do it at any embassy though.. like canada... -
oh, ic. hmm.....well, i hope you can work something out. i mean, they expect everybody to have that extra $$$ to return "home" just to get a visa meh? i hope they make exceptions for you. can save that trip, although you still have plenty of time.

The state department need to approve all alien who intended to enter the US. especially security background check, financial approval, and institution acceptance with I-20.
Visa waiver does not apply to other visa except temporary visit not longer than 3 months but again US at border can deny any visa waiver entry and send you back on the next flight.
Look at it this way u get to go back and enjoy your local food before u fly back. -

San fran got sg embassy right?
Try checking with them.
I remember somewhere, that you are suppose to get your visa before you flew to USA so you wont need that extra trip back.
and even if sg embassy gives you the visa, you will still have to fly off somewhere and then fly back to san fran using that visa.
Not necessary to fly back to sg, just somewhere not in their list of countries....i think ireland or Taiwan is possible. You can try to change your flight ticks if you got your visa to work that for you. -

1) Packs of Myojo Mee Pok.
2) Indomee Mee Goreng
3) Cuttlefish snacks
4) Rubber slippers; preferably those you can wear socks with (or those faky crocs)
5) Bermudas
6) extra set of glasses & contact lenses
7) Netted Food Covers (or you might find them cheap at Little Vietnam/Chinatown in USA.)

i think it would be fare to say that we can get 95% of asian stuff here especially in the west coast. infact even more than SG.
