I was at work yesterday and met a customer who's originally from Malaysia. We got to talking and found out that we live just around the corner from each other. She ended up inviting me to a Christmas Eve dinner. Some of her other Malaysian pals are bringing food. Rendang!!! Sambal!!!! I'm there!!!!!
*cue music: It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...*

There is a Singapore/Malaysia club here. I've attended a couple of their get-togethers but... haven't met anyone there I have a kinship with. They are kinda clique-ish. I can't wait for Christmas Eve. -

Apartment rents are expensive, etc. Anyway, don't want to rain on your parade.
San Jose has lots of Singaporeans. My sis has been there for 20 years. Got mahjong kaki lah, makan kaki lah... There's lots of good food there - even a Prima restaurant! So not fair!!! -

these days i think everywhere there are asian in the US so not to worry. but since u want american fryed food i suggest you go down to TN if you want Seafood than you go to SFO. but again u r there for school.
I don;t think it is worth paying expensive rent so might as be money wise and spend less on rent. -
