stupid passport~

i need to renew my passport
i thought it's going to expire in MAY, but i just checked and it expires in MARCH!!!!!!!!
butbutbut...i dunno anyone here who has known me for 2 years
that means....!!! i have to send my peektures and the application form to toronto to get people to sign it for me and THEN send it back to me!
what a bloody waste of time n money and omg so mafan!
thank goodness there's a office on the street where i live
haha. if im not wrong, i read that it'll take only 2 weeks to get my passport done if i bring the application form to the office itself...
hope the mail gets to toronto and back fine and fast -
well, if there's no passport, then we will have not have udon to eat next year.
mine also expiring, next next march. can start applying next june.

Mine expires Feb 08. Submitting an application by mail to the overseas mission in San Francisco isn't a problem. I have to collect it in person. That's an 8 hour drive one way. Terok man.

never had one my dad got offered by the govt many times, but he still would rather not change to sg one.....cos cannot have dual citizenship.... -

I was thinking more on this after I read your reply. I had called the mission back in early 06. I guess there was a knee jerk reaction with the terrorist situation. Wish me luck! -

I last renewed my SG passport through the SG embassy in Washington, DC, in 1999. Back then, it was a relatively painless affair: the embassy mailed me the application forms, which I duly filled out and returned to them with a couple of photos and a money order for the processing fee, together with the expiring passport.
The only problem was the fact that new passport looked very amateurish, with all of the relevant information about the holder badly handwritten and the photo laminated onto the inside front cover at an angle. It really looked as if the passport was prepared by the 4-year-old child of one of the embassy's officials. -

Arapahoe: It's worth a visit. We went there last year and really enjoyed the trip.
