Actually, if your dentist prescribes you Vicodin as a pain med, you'll be feeling real good, if you get my drift!Originally posted by jetta:Tomorrow (Tuesday), I go for my dental implant and wisdom tooth extraction. Sooo scared. Sooo tempted to call and cancel.
I requested for Wednesday off to recover. If I feel well enough, I'll get started on making those Christmas cards. Wednesday night, I have a scrapbooking party to go to. I'm excited about that but I'm wondering how I'll be feeling from pain meds.
You and your Vicodin. I hate the stuff. Makes me nauseous. I truly hope that I won't be in too much pain because I really really need to feel good on Wednesday to get all I need to do done.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Actually, if your dentist prescribes you Vicodin as a pain med, you'll be feeling real good, if you get my drift!
(And if you have any of it left over after the gaping holes in your jaw heal up, please let me know, and I'll take the remaining Vicodin off your hands. I'll even send you a FedEx call tag. )
how much did your dentist bill you?Originally posted by jetta:Day off today. I was supposed to sit home and make Christmas cards but after I dropped the daughter off at school, I found myself driving to my favourite nursery to check out their latest offerings. BIG MISTAKE. 90 minutes and US$129 later.... At least my back patio is colourful again.

A little over $3800. Insurance only covers $300. Would have been a higher amount but long story.Originally posted by Arapahoe:how much did your dentist bill you?
At the dentist's yesterday, the nurse asked if I wanted Vicodin. I told her noooooooooooooooooo. How about Percoset? Again, noooooooooooooooooo. Then she said, I'll give you Darvoset, it's mild. Guess what? It's not mild enough for me. I'm nursing a bad headache from it and it's almost 24 hours since my surgery.Originally posted by Kuali Baba:*Voice of Dr House*
Vicodin...gimme my pills.
Why do painkillers cause you pain instead?Originally posted by jetta:At the dentist's yesterday, the nurse asked if I wanted Vicodin. I told her noooooooooooooooooo. How about Percoset? Tylenol is useless for me....Originally posted by jetta:That's what I want to know!
The nurse told me that Darvocet contains Tylenol so I'm just going to take Tylenol instead, if the pain hits.
Feeling good, thank you. I'm still quite guarded about eating. Have to eat soft foods and that's no fun. I'm still on antibiotics and will be for a while. All in all, if I had to do it all over again, I would. Once they knock you out, you really don't feel a thing.Originally posted by littlestream:ooohh......jetta.......how's are you feeling now? and you are so brave. *pats pats*
