I don't know if I can handle having two homes because that means two mortgages and two of everything. Not to mention the airfare. I'd rather have one home throughout the year. Amazing how you adapt to the winter conditions there. I'll be the first one to admit that I will never live anyplace colder than So Cal.Originally posted by littlestream:yah, it's really a great place to live and work.
as for winters, well, the retirees have "winter homes" if they can afford it. it used to be florida but i heard they now go to arizona.
it will be nice to be able to go away during the winter months and still collect pension eh? we will look for winter home when the time is ripe.
I can tell u will never like to live in winter. Unless its for holiday purpose.Originally posted by jetta:I don't know if I can handle having two homes because that means two mortgages and two of everything. Not to mention the airfare.
