Need Urgent Help - Notary Public

Anyone in melbourne know where can i find a Notary Public. Cos the HDB told me that I need to find a Notary Public in melbourne so they can witness on me signing the documents. But i search online I dont find at all and I know Melbourne dont have Singapore Embassy. Can someone from melbourne help me on this. Thanks !

You might be able to get a document witnessed and/or notarized at your local bank. (Many banks and financial institutions here in the US provide that service--I do not know if it's likewise in Australia.) -

Of cos I can find legal firms in melbourne and I also managed to get some help from other forum and one of the girl give me this website www.notarylocator.com.au , I jus wan to confirm I did can get help from them, to sign my HDB document, right? Cause the HDB officer told me I have to sign infront of the officer in Singapore Embassy, other than that, he is is not sure. To sign in front of a Embassy officer or to sign/swear/affirm with a notary public? -

Documents are witnessed by Justice of the Peace (JP) in Australia which is the same as a notary public. The service is normally free of charge on a voluntary basis located in shopping malls etc at scheduled time. You can find a JP near you here http://www.rvahj.org.au/findjp.wtml
