I was just pulled over ... for speeding ......
for doing 10 KM/H over the speed limit !!!!! .....
YES TEN !!!!!!! ..................

I remember getting pulled over for doing 130km/hr on a 100km/hr road.
The trick is to smile, be cheeful, answer the officer question and do not say more than necessary.
Then he'll just say drive safely and drive off.
And that is still after he had to chased me with lights flashing for at least 5km. -

Do you have the option of challenging the ticket in court? For my ticket, I turned up on the appointed court date to challenge it. Didn't manage to reduce the fine, but they "generously" put me on 'state adjudication,' meaning that the ticket doesn't go on my driving record if I refrain from getting any additional moving violations in the next year. Oooohhh, what a deal... not! -
I can suck it up and fork out the hundred bucks ...
or I can appear in court and plead not guilty ...
or I can plead guilty and throw myself at the judges' leg ....
none of which are nice ..... -

Hmm... really caught him in a bad donut day... ususally 10 over limit would be let off with a warning.... That's what I think.
Cos never get caught before although doing like 50 over limit almost all the time when the road is open. -

Fatum, Fatum, I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. If it were me, I'd go to court and duke it out just to get the fine reduced. Unless it's not worth your while, monetarily (having to take day off work, etc).
I think this is a sign to move south. Hint: Texas. -

if you plead not guilty you'll probably need to go back so the officer can be there also...time off work's gonna add up, plus you might lose....pleading guilty usually gets the fine reduced but you still have to add in the time off work....just paying the fine might be the way to go.Originally posted by Fatum:I can suck it up and fork out the hundred bucks ...
