Just came back from shopping. Well did not get a chance to go navy pier although we past by it cos the traffic was terrible. It is VERY NICE! Looks like I must die die go there tomorrow.
Anyway we went to chinatown to have the our lunch at penang restaruant and it was fabulous! However I forget to take pictures of the food. There was a parade celebrating taiwan's independence day and it was very crowded and there are quite alot of pretty babes. Wanted to take picture with one of them but kenna rejected....haha
Beside that, just went to factory outlet outside downtown area as we cant find a space in the downtown area to park.
I am going to downtown again tomorrow and will update the field report tomorrow. Hopefully I will not be lazy to upload the fotos too. -

One update today and I make it short cos I am very tired now. Went to navy pier, but was not as what I have expected, that place just have a ferris wheel, a marry go round, some small counter with games and the rest is ships providing ferry service to tour the river. The tour cost 26 USD!
But there is still some interesting scenary in the city, will update the full field report when I am not too tired. -
lolz i think navy pier is the most interesting during the independence day..cos the celebration is really big there...so if u wan to get the true atmosphere of navy pier, go during the summer time...and they will have the food festival over there as well I think...better than to go now...Originally posted by SpeedStar:One update today and I make it short cos I am very tired now. I hope you're having a good time in Chicago, SpeedStar. I've been there but can't recommend any sites to you as I was only in the train station for a short time while changing trains.
