Working and living in HK or Taiwan

Hi guys,
been thinking of going to one of the above countries to work.. but what jobs do they need people in? What should i know before even considering going over?
Will it be so different from Singapore?
Please share your experiences guys~ -

I do have a friend from NS days working in the finance sector in hong kong actually ....
he says one has to be very careful about picking up chicks in hong kong ... some hottie ang moh babe will come up to you and lick your ears and ask to go home with you and you oblige ....
a few hours later she'll ask you to pay her after the *ahem* .....

Hmm. How do i get a job from either place, if i don't really know what kind of people they need?
The thing is i have 3 years+ to plan, in which i'm going to study for a deg next year. So i'm just exploring all the alternatives.
If i decide to go to HK, i can study cantonese as well, and take the time to know more about HK. Same for Taiwan.
So yea, any ideas?
