liberal arts colleges

anyone here went to a liberal arts college? care to share some experience? eg.curriculum, job prospects etc? am considering going to one instead of heading for a professional/vocational course in uni. keep hearing the term and nicked morsels of info here and there but never really understood the whole thing. help help!

when u apply for Liberal Arts college be sure you ready to finish at MA level and not stop at a BA. There are some really good liberal arts college any school in particular?

In the US educating system freshmen and sophomores basically take up liberal arts classes. So that you have a well rounded understand of the various disciplines prior to your major field of study. (So that you graduate with some other knowledge other than your logic of discipline)
Than what dictate the different between obtaining a liberal arts degree in say a typical university vs. liberal Arts college. The approached and philosophy that come out from liberal Arts college are different from university but it does not means that academic teaching are different.
University with emphasis on research may infact required student to generate papers for every class. May required more self exploring nature.
Liberal Arts College may have different approach, more teaching of each discipline, looking at each subject in its own perspective. Cultivate your interest to question, develop a series of curiosity in solving problems. At the end of your 4 years, they view that your approach in life are greatly influence in a manner that benefit Humanity. basically in liberal arts college if you complete the program they do mole you.
Politically liberal Arts seemed to be originated by Democrats but students seemed to be graduating and become Republican.

Good choice one of the higher rank college, the claremont colleges are great Liberal Arts n science school, It is made up of original 5 colleges. Harvey Mudd and Pitzer are science college. Scripps is an all woman college, Pomona n claremont are liberal arts. If I am correct Pomona does not grade you for 1st year. I think. Great campus. Heathy competition among the colleges.
Personnally i intend to take up graduate school in claremont graduate school.
Cost don't think is cheap cause they have a well rounded campus living and college. So you basically lived in a college town. Good experience.
PS: Oh these colleges that i mention sit side by side together. That is why when I talk about Pomona I talk about claremont colleges. -
