Project deadlines heaped upon project deadlines, is what's keeping me from being a more frequent visitor here nowadays.Originally posted by littlestream:Hmm.........i tink they gonna be alright. plus 9 is after all, spring weather too eh?

Don't forget to post some pictures of your tulips when they bloom, ah!
Did you stand outside with your tongue out to try to catch some of the hail?Originally posted by jetta:Talk about freaky weather, we had hail two days ago. Imagine that! They were pellet-sized though, so no damage done. Lasted like 10 mintues total and then it poured.
Are you speaking from experience?Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Did you stand outside with your tongue out to try to catch some of the hail?
Actually, it's quite shiok, trying to catch pellet-sized hail with your tongue. Anything larger than that (say, pea-sized and above) and it starts to get dangerous.Originally posted by jetta:Are you speaking from experience?
So how's your weather up there? Making a trip somewhere for spring break? We're staying put. No cash no go.
I'm wondering if you'd like to see Eastern Washington? There's a town called Winthrop that's really quaint. You'd have to drive over the mountains to get to it and it's a very scenic drive. At Winthrop, you'll find all things cowboy - from a saloon, to a blacksmith and even a cattle drive in the summer.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Actually, it's quite shiok, trying to catch pellet-sized hail with your tongue. We're back to more "normal" weather up here, i.e., 40s and 50s. Additionally, it's been pretty cloudy and gloomy the past few days.
We're definitely planning another trip to Seattle sometime this spring. This time, however, we'll set aside the time to circumnavigate the Olympic Peninsula--something we didn't do on the last visit as we underestimated the time and distance of such a trip. Of course, we'll also be bumming around the sound on the ferries! A side trip to Vancouver will probably be out of the question, as we didn't really enjoy that city.
What about you? Any travel plans for spring?
