The final set of images:
Downtown Chattanooga, with the Tennessee River in the foreground. As you can see, lighting conditions weren't ideal for photography that day.
Fireworks are available year-round in Tennessee, and there was definitely an abundance of fireworks vendors in the state. This is Big Daddy's Fireworks in Pittsburg, one of the bigger ones in Tennessee.
Crossing the Tennessee River on the way back to Alabama.
The
Russell Cave National Monument near Bridgeport, Alabama. A pretty poor excuse for a National Monument, if you ask me...
Looking out the mouth of Russell Cave.
At the Nashville International Airport. That's the North
worst Airlines DC9-50 that will be flying me back to the Twin Cities. Unlike the flight down, this time, they actually managed to locate a flight crew to fly the plane, but we still left 45 minutes late, with
no explanation whatsoever for the delay.
That's the lot!
