Just got back a couple of hours ago. Happy to report that it wasn't that cold *happy dance*. Just day after day of nothing but rain and relatives.

I'm glad that the Christmas shopping madness is finally over; perhaps road traffic can return to something resembling normality, and drivers will now be less likely to intentionally run you over in the parking lots of the malls. -

We had it quite nice during Christmas too. Single digits on the plus side but this morning, my car is iced up. Looks like old man winter is finally knocking on our doors.
Christmas was good. Just unwind and relax at home. Eat, drink and watch movies. R E L A C~~~~~~~~~~

Just checked the local weather forecast, and it appears we'll be in the mid to upper-30s all the way into Sunday.
If this unusually warm winter weather is the result of global warming, then I'm all for burning more fossil fuels! -

No, your eyesight isn't failing. There was pain involved too. Not to sound ungrateful but I just wonder who put it into my inlaws' heads that my daughter likes peacocks. OMG, gift after gift opened had some kind of peacock icon. Hubby's gifts were all baseball skewed. At least some of us got gifts we liked. Like you, I am soooooooo glad Christmas is done and over with. One day of excess is enough. My Christmas wish for 2007? No MREs, please. -
Thank you! Apparently, we brought the rain down with us. It's been raining intermittently since the early AM. Aside from that, all is well. Don't you just hate catching up with chores, unpacking, etc after getting home from a trip? (Was going to say vacation but vacations are supposed to be relaxing.)
