food wise, i've not reached my desired goal. check out my to-do list in this forum. i update the first page as i go along. certain standard not as what i remembered them to be. plus, i've picked up some culinary skills while living abroad too eh.
family is good. so happy to see them but yet sad that one by one, the senior ones came up with an ailment of some kind.
other than that, all's good. but i surprise myself that i missed my home/family in toronto..........just after day 3. u can't tell i am not a very good traveller. the other surprise was, i am wishing for winter -

an account of day 3
visited my dad and he looked so much better. i am inclined to believe that our visits are making him looking forward and cheering him up too. he sat up the whole time we were there....like four hours.
we joked and laughed with him. oh man, he is such a cutie. actually, i do regret having a ball at his expenses. but in the name of fun, what the heck.
well, my sister took me pub-hopping. not my cup of tea actually. but i did enjoy the performances at Dragonfly. i was sort of impressed with Sly. he sang better in mandarin. with one english number, he ended with an impressive high note and held it very well. good for him!!! the other performer i liked was one guy singing in canto. but of course, i like canto.
day 4 - to visit in-laws again.
