See? Global warming really works! Keep up the CO2 emissions.Originally posted by jetta:Can you believe it? It was 31C here while I was up in Seattle. Hottest day on record. Today's going to be another warm one.
Swell ah? Truthfully, we were up there for Grant Aunt's Memorial but it was a happy one. Apparently she was quite well-known in Seattle and there were lots of guests in attendance. The weather was, what else, wet but wasn't that cold. We did manage to squeeze some shopping time, which was great. Hope you had a swell time in Seattle, by the way.
Somehow, Seattle wouldn't be Seattle without the rain. Glad things went well at your Great Aunt's Memorial.Originally posted by jetta:Swell ah? Eh, how was your time change? Uneventful? Did I ever mention that Mexico doesn't switch over for another 3 weeks? Those who must endure the border will have to be inconvenienced until then.

No surprises on the time change, as it had been publicized by the media way in advance. I wasn't aware Mexico didn't follow the rest of North America on the bringing forward of the DST changeover. I guess the illegals flooding over the border will have to put up with the inconvenience of having to reset their watches for the next three weeks!
Believe it or not, it got up to 58°F yesterday, and actually hit 60°F today. It was weird to see people in tank-tops and shorts out jogging this evening. I actually pulled out the waterhose and washed off all of the accumulated sand and salt from my winter beater earlier this evening. The rust on the car now looks pristine again!
