We're expecting a high of 44°F today, and it's expected to hit 47°F tomorrow.
Wish it could be like that for the rest of winter, but, alas, we'll probably be chest-high in snow come January....
I have no problem with that, as long as it remains north of latitude 48° 34' N.Originally posted by Fatum:Omigod ... they are using the 'B' word on the radio ! ...

It's probably safer doing what you are doing anyway - to stay indoor.Originally posted by Fatum:I am ... but in this case, I don't have a choice .... the snow drift's so high people are getting stuck in the parking lot ! .... and visibility is down to 30 feet right now ....

What time is it over there? Say you stay at work tonight, do you get the next day off? I wouldn't think you sleep well in the office....Originally posted by Fatum:they'll have to be ... nothing I can do about it anyways ...

I dunno ... I don't think the office's going to be open tomorrow also, judging by the weather ...

it probably blew in south east into Canada from Alaska !!! ....Originally posted by skid:it's snowing here now...hope it's not going to be anything like you're getting Fatum.
all this damned cold weather comes from Canada!
it depends on how "cold" is it ... frankly, I don't mind the heat so much ... at least you'll take a longer time to die from heat stroke than hypothermia ....Originally posted by honeymouse:It's completely opposite over here in Melbourne. We are having very hot summer at the momentwith temperature soaring to the mid 30's at least twice a week. Bush fires are burning out of control in some parts of Victoria. Looks like we are going to have some hot days week - forcast for next Tue & Wed is 39 degrees. Sigh. I prefer cold weather to hot weather.

but it's pretty dry to isn't it ? ... so you don't sweat (and smell) much .... which is good ... cos Singapore is hot AND humid all year round ... it's like living in a sauna ...
