Gawd skid, remind me never to visit Montana this time of year. Hope you won't need to turn on the heat for a while yet.Originally posted by skid:it rained today, which i like, but it never got above 60F (15.5C)..my cousin in eastern Montana says it's already snowed there....yikes!
lit the pilot light on the heater in the basement but haven't needed to use it yet.
Wait for the eastern contingent to wake up and you'll get your answer.Originally posted by mhcampboy:when will it snow in washington dc??
legs? i've never seen your legs do i need to say NPNT?Originally posted by littlestream:Chilly mornings and nights here. Day temperature can be nice but with the wind, I am walking around with jacket.
No more showing off legs liao. Time to pack up Ts and shorts/skirts.
Fall officially knocking on our door on Friday, yah? Do you rake the leaves or hope the wind blow it away?
....Originally posted by skid:ahh...a fair weather fisherman, i've read about those types...a lil bit chilly, "brrr, let's not go".....a lil wind, "let's not go, i won't be able to cast"....a lil rain, "i can't fish in this god-awful weather"
looks like it's time to put your gear away til next summer and tie flies all winter.....brrrrr!

yes you rake up the leaves...even if the wind blows them away it'll just blow some in from the neighbors yard. Here there's mostly pine needles, the wind doesn't blow them away.
Brrrr!!!! Good thing I'm here and not there.Originally posted by littlestream:We are getting single digits in the mornings liao.
And I'll say it again... gimme the heat anytime.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Expected highs this week in the 60s. The vegetation is really turning color now. This is my favorite time of the year, but what follows is several months of pure "white" misery....
