How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

Those of us in North America had a scorching summer. Now that summer's behind us, how's it looking where you're at? Here in So Cal, it's chilly in mornings and evenings but hot in the PM. Essentially it's still t-shirt and shorts weather.

it rained today, which i like, but it never got above 60F (15.5C)..my cousin in eastern Montana says it's already snowed there....yikes!
lit the pilot light on the heater in the basement but haven't needed to use it yet. -
when will it snow in washington dc??

37°F this morning here in the Twin Cities. I had to fire up the furnace for the very first time this season. Fortunately, the furnace has electronic ignition, so no messing about with pilot lights.
According to the weather forecast for the next ten days, the nightly lows aren't expected to get any higher than 50°F.
And yes, the vegetation here has just started to turn colour. I have one of the club planes booked for early next week, so hopefully I'll have some fall pictures from the air posted here shortly thereafter.

Chilly mornings and nights here. Day temperature can be nice but with the wind, I am walking around with jacket.
No more showing off legs liao. Time to pack up Ts and shorts/skirts.

for me, i wish to hell i had brought short
sometimes it so freakin HOT here that i can die with a t-shirt and jeans
and yes i can walk around sometimes at around midnight without a sweater
no idea when it will start to cool
temp going up to a high of mid-20s of high 20s most days here
its absolutely insane
its just NOT right. -
Here in the SF Bay Area it's 78 deg, clear skies and sunshine.

ahh...a fair weather fisherman, i've read about those types...a lil bit chilly, "brrr, let's not go".....a lil wind, "let's not go, i won't be able to cast"....a lil rain, "i can't fish in this god-awful weather"
looks like it's time to put your gear away til next summer and tie flies all winter.....brrrrr! -

yes you rake up the leaves...even if the wind blows them away it'll just blow some in from the neighbors yard. Here there's mostly pine needles, the wind doesn't blow them away. -

Expected highs this week in the 60s. The vegetation is really turning color now. This is my favorite time of the year, but what follows is several months of pure "white" misery....
