Labor Day Weekend

This coming Monday, being Labor Day, is a public holiday, but the long weekend for me begins NOW as I am taking tomorrow (Friday) off. Woohoo! a four-day super-duper long weekend!
So, for those of you residing in the US, what are your Labor Day Weekend plans?

No big plans here either. This is the last weekend of the state fair, but I think I'll pass on that. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'll probably head to the range in the morning for a little target practice.
Might work on the cars too. I've neglected to do a coolant change on them for over a year, so this weekend might be the right time to rectify that!
Labor Day is traditionally regarded as the unofficial end of the summer. Not exactly looking forward to winter, given current natural gas prices....

Labour Day is in September?
I always know Labour Day to be celebrated in May, thats why they are also sometimes known as May Day -

I'm packing this Labor Day, because I'm heading to Chi-town to see my brother and his family. It's going to kick wazoo!
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend...maybe I'll pack in a BBQ too, who knows.
It's a great time to relax and catch up on sleep and R&R. -

The area's so hot, paint actually curdles!! Learnt that the hard way. 
We're taking a break from home improvement this weekend. But come Monday, we'll be back at it.
We managed to get the dishwasher hooked up after 3 days of battling with hoses, etc. I'm in the midst of priming and painting cabinet doors and loving every minute of it. -

We made friends with the guys from the plumbing and mill works dept and they've given us 10% off coupons with promises of more coupons to come. Joy! Joy! -

i have SCHOOL on labour day
bloody legal drinking age here is 19.

And thus ends Labor Day. How did the US contingent of sgF spend it?
It didn't rain today--in fact, it cleared up pretty nicely this morning, and I was going to stick with the original plan of heading to the range. However, a friend from the flying club called before that to inform me that he was cancelling his reservation for one of the club's planes this morning, and asked if I wanted to take his slot.
So the SO and I spent the better part of two hours just puttering over eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Pretty good flying weather, as it turned out. There was a little turbulence from convective activity, but nothing to cause us to upchuck our breakfast.
For many here, Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer. Let's hope this winter isn't going to be as cold as this summer was hot. -
mi kuku here...when is labour day?
