The Bank do their part conserving energy by turning off lights strategically. We were sort of operating on emergency lightings yesterday. Wouldn't want to suffer another power grid failure with the strain on energy.
And we needed to import energy from NY, Michigan and Quebec with the surge in energy usage!
I am doing my part by not using the dishwasher and the washer/dryer. -

Well, it rained here all of last night and part of this morning, but it's not enough to make up for the rainfall deficit from the drought. The ground has been baked hard from the hot and dry weather, so most of the rainwater just drained off without being absorbed into the ground.
At least it's slightly cooler today. -
