Seriously, if you have an account with DBS, I believe DBS has a retail bank in Australia. You may need to check with them. In fact, your best bet is to check with the bank.
ONce you have both account, then just do a T/T.
Anyways, check with your bank. They can still transfer money to whichever Bank you bank with in Australia.

Open a bank account in Australia and do a telegraphic transfer.
Or buy a bank draft from your local bank and bring it to Australia, then deposit it into the bank. -

You can carry up to only AUD$9999 with you and pass immigrations without a hitch.

if going alone....keep the bank draft and when you are there the you open a bank acc and then transfer the money there.........remember this phrase my dear singaporean friend......even the user in this chat called FATUM also said the same thing......

Bank draft takes 3 days to clear, tt also takes awhile, so make sure you carry loose change, but only up to AUD$9999 that is.

just remember the bank draft takes a few days......to clear if i am not mistaken.......always have some quick cash at hand to meet needs.....
i think 3000-4000 should be enough for states that are poorer....states like the scarecrow state.......the dumbass state like south australia is a pathetic state such that 1000 should be enough for weeks......
states like NSW and VIC should require you to have more budget......bring more.........but in any case your money is stolen you might want to have some backup such as credit card.....
the POSB master debit should be okay........
and always remember in peril.......look up to heaven and shout out loudly HELP HELP HELP ......three times and god will manifest something out of thin air...........maybe even some droplets of water for blessings......... -

oh come on......i won't want to be a wet blanket to his dreams........but dreams are essentially dreams after all.............very few dreams come true........and even if they come true...............and this reminds me of this phrase.......SPIRITUAL PIPED dreams............
let him have some sort of liking for australia...........but however for me......having to have stayed in that sort of country for a while would then make me realise something..............seems as though i was woken up from my slumber..............as though someone was trying to rescue me from the hellpit...........
