I watched the free skate...Arakawa deserved that gold medal.
Even if my fondness for the song 'Nessun Dorma' might skew things slightly. 
I never realised that skaters are pretty short (though it makes sense), and that Joannie Rochette was born on the same date as me. -

Well, honestly, I thought the other Japanese scored a little too low. I wouldn't say she has a clean skate nor level of difficult but then Cohen fell twice!!!! And still clinch silver?????
Yeap, Arakawa skated well. Very agile too and to think she intended to retire two years ago!!!
Anyways, watch 2010 in Vancouver. Our Mira Leung and Joanne may take centre stage!!!
It will be a Big 50 for me then and I am hinting to my hubby that I would like the 2010 as my birthday present. I already know what games/events I will be going to and I won't forget the big Canadian flag.
Strangely, each time the Canadian anthem is played, I get all emotionally. Although I do have a heart for Singapore, but I've never felt this way when I hear the anthem. -
