  Is it really easier overseas, or just a myth?
  
  Care to comment on the differences. The standard, the style and the approach. Is it really easier to score high grades in the overseas system?

  not true... maybe theres some exceptions... but from what i see, not as easy as it seems... at least they dont ask u to do redundant modules...

  High school... yea I found it slightly easier, especially in English
  
  For university, I found it a bit tougher, not so much study-wise, but in the approach they use for assignments, require more 'thinking' and analytical work, something I found v. different from the learning system in Singapore where they did not do much analytical work, more like 'spoon-feeding' and learning by rote method.

  Definitely not in Japan and Korea, where they also have 'cram school' after normal classes.

  how can you compare? i mean you couldn't have studied at the same level for both countries could you? lets not talk about exchange since its pass/fail and therefore no pressure

  My experience is, it is a very independent study approach. One has to be really disciplined. One of my lecturers like to say "we are our own drivers."
  
  As for getting high grades, well, quite out of my grasps.
