Have dinner yet? With this brrr....cold weather, I take out congee. Had pacific clam with shredded chicken congee. Tau pau two orders of lean pork with century egg for son. Hubby? Pai seh, he's at squash so he can eat before he returns home.

Looks like winter's taking a temporary leave of absence today, as it's expected to hit the upper-40s again. Woohoo!

Good thing winters here are mild. Still new here so don't really know what there is to do. So far we've been working on the yard, working on getting the house organised after the move, trying out new restaurants, getting to know the immediate area, going bowling, shopping, etc.
Sooner or later when we're more settled, we're going to make day trips. -
Lucky you. But we are having a good week, this week. Today was a high of plus 8. Felt like Spring. The skunks mistook it for Spring and is coming out of hibernation. Saw one hiding underneath my car one night. Hubby and I play "detectives" that night. Wah, heard on radio, NYC, Central Park got dumped with 70cm of snow leh. All three airports were closed too yesterday. Looks like old man winter got waylaid.
