Plus, I've experienced quite a few heartbreaking news and events so very wary about health issues. Was pretty disturbed and not in a good frame of mind lah, I would say.
But thanks for asking. I am better and hubby also improving although not back at 100%. I am still watching out and careful though. -

Yup, I remember that unfortunate incident. I recall it happened in one of the southern states (GA or LA come to mind). how to make the Halloween prop to end all props
HEAD IN A JAR!
Step 1
The first step of course, is to find a bottle. Try to get a cheap looking thing, with the low quality of glass making the contents appear to shift and warp. All the better for making it look even spookier.
Step 2
Obtain the head of a corpse. I went out and killed some homeless guy for it... Juuuust kidding. Look in places like maybe a newsgroup for 3D animators. It's essentially a flattened rendering of a face that would be applied to a 3D model. Do a search on Google and you're bound to stumble into one.
Step 3
Scale the face to a realistic size and then print it out. Trim out the face. Laminate the paper to make it a little more rigid.
Step 4
Roll the face up and place it in the jar. Then crumple up some large paper wads and stuff the centre of the jar to make it flatten against the inner surfaces of the glass.
By now, the project should be looking pretty damn creepy, but it still lacks the finishing touch: hair.
I'll be best if you can get some real hair from maybe a barber shop. Once you get the hair from a barber shop, just stuff it in there in small tufts and work it around with a screwdriver to get the desired amount of messiness.
Step 5
Hot glue the stopper onto the bottle. Make a few and line them up. Spook and traumatise the trick-or-treaters -
