Doing anything this coming Halloween?
I used to get all excited and pack the snacks in those loot bags. But this year, feeling a bit low and cheap. No mood for it.
Have you been to any Halloween parties? I've not. I think renting a costume can be costly? -

No lah, I don't go to such parties lah. Usually, I like to stay home and wait for the kids to "ding dong". Hmmm...I wonder if I should turn off my porch lights this year so the kids know not to come.
Some houses are "beautifully" decorated. Got coffin and stuff.
I just treat it as a commercial thing but I have a Christian friend who insisted that Christians should not involve in it. -

For whatever reason, I've never really gotten into the spirit of Halloween. As such, my porchlight usually remains off on the night of October 31.
However, candy that isn't handed out during Halloween usually turns up in the office for some days thereafter. If you have a sweet tooth, you'd be in paradise during this time!

Believe me, I have Halloween kisses on my desk already. I've worked on two. One a day. Those Halloween kisses reminds me of the candy at my primary school tuckshop. It is like a stick and gooey gooey with dusted icing powder to prevent each sticks from sticking to each other. Have you ever had that?
And my workstation is deck up also. The dollar store items. Cheap, cheap. If only I have the cam, can take pic and show you. But like you, hubby holds the cam in his brief case.
Hubby's favourite Halloween candy is the rockets. And you? Anything in particular? -
If I had any Gryffindor Quidditch robes, I'd attend a Halloween party. But I have none.

Actually, their Nestlé Crunch Blizzard is to die for. Nestle Crunch? Is that the one with rice krispy in it? I like that too but have not had chocolates for quite a while already.
Dairy Queen? Oh yes, of course. But it is fattening. I've only had it once. I know the blizzards are wicked so I went for banana split. Banana split always reminds me of my childhood days, growing up humble and craving for it but can't have. So yeah, close to my heart. You can tell what a sentimental fool, I am.

MG, not sure if you remembered. We both about clocked the same number of years in North America.
Back in I think maybe mid 90s, there was this Japanese student who was dressed up for the Halloween party. But he went to the wrong house and was shot dead.
