it's a strategic decision ... and there are lots of things to consider ... career most importanly ... to start a family is another ... etc etc ... I'll want to map out all these things before I decide where to park my ass for the next few years eh ..... it's the last of my golden decade afterall ... -

I might have mentioned this before, but if I were in your shoes, I'd try to at least get a few years of working experience in Canada first. If you decide that working overseas is not your cup of tea, you can then return to Singapore (and the overseas work experience might even prove beneficial in your job search back home!).Originally posted by Fatum:if only things were that simple eh ? .....

I've got a few interviews lined up, and if a offer props up from there, I'll definitely give it serious consideration ....

If you are looking at Info Sec., they are generally paying higher too. I was in Info Sec & Ctrl in the Bank for five years before moving over to Finance. If you wish, I can forward your resume along.
Not too long ago, I know they were looking for a Network Sec guy. But that dept siong. If got any "events" (intrusion or whatever), wah, the place like trading floor ley.
The Info Sec breaks down to Network Sec., Forensic, Risk Analysis, Sec, Quality Assurance, Governance and a few others. Anyways, let me know or PM your resume.
