You can't miss it in Toronto. I suspect it is the same with Vancouver. It is quite busy here. The TVs, the Chinese malls. Even the ang moh malls have activities.
No, I didn't go visiting. I was resting my eyes. I did prepare the reunion dinner though. Steamboat. So, just spend simple, relax time with hubby and son. Watch a couple of movies. One of which gave me nightmare.
Have you watch Dreamcatcher? It started out nicely and boy was I in for shocks. Luckily I have a throw around to shield myself between TV. But I did enjoy the movie. The other we watched was The Island.

Our organization is in the midst of a multi-million dollar effort to port all of the code of its flagship product from Natural/ADABAS to Java. Accordingly, we've hired consultants to help with the code migration and conduct intensive all-day Java training classes three days a week into March. Management expects us to be able to start pumping out production-ready Java code at the conclusion of the training. Given the aggressive timeline and the fact that management expects us to discharge our regular responsibilities while attending the training, I don't think this is going to be possible.
Java programmer certification from Sun is the farthest thing from our minds now. -

Natural/ADABAS ? ... I must confess this is something new to me, never heard of this before ... a quick googling told me its databases ? ... seems like legacy code to me ... ...
my tinkering with java JDBC/SQL is quite limited, but i remember a project when we experienced problems with scalability and concurrency issues, so you may want to look at the cost performance-wise ...
I think I'm going to crash out for a while now ... didn't sleep last night mugging for a mid-term ... brain's shutting down ... have a good one MG ... -

The hog in Nova Scotia didn't appear. Well, how can he? They are dumped with three feet of snow!!!!
But I heard the hog in Pennsylvania did. Yipppeeee........so, winter will soon be over!!! Another six weeks!!!!! Yay! -

The layer of ice on the lakes may be thinning out, but that apparently has not prevented some die-hard ice-fishermen from pushing their luck. We've already had several cases of them falling through the ice this season. No fatalaties yet, though. -

so cool that you folks know what you want to do. i've seen many of my friends' children switch major.
oh tonight? hubby at squash tourney and son over at his friend. so i'm home alone. i am the weird type who enjoys my own company so i treasure these treats/special moments. i would be watching dramas already but because of my eyes, i've stopped renting. -
