hows everyone's winter? over here abt got a little snow few days ago, right now having biting cold winds...
wear 3layer liao still so cold... n heard might be even more colder this winter with chances of blizzard... -

These images were taken just this morning (Thursday, 11/25/05). Road conditions were frickin' treacherous, with numerous pile-ups reported. Not surprising, given that today, being the first day after Thanksgiving, is traditionally the busiest shopping day of the year as people scramble to begin their Christmas shopping. -

had my first slip of the winter on the pavement today .... flurries instead of snow today ... all the pavements and sidewalks are icy deathtraps ...

Oh, MG........the pic looks pretty mild eh? We had our first official snow fall on Thursday too. I checked my backyard. About 3". I took the day off work. Driving was trecherous, I could imagine. Went to work on Friday morning and the roads were still nasty.
Today is nice. High of 13.
Oh, what a treat. It is expected to be nice tomorrow too and then will be back to seasonal weather.
Aiyoh, ke lian, Fatum. Slipped ah? Take care hor. Got wear boots or not? I started liao.

But winter has been getting milder. In the early 90s, I started wearing winter jackets in late October.

actually, it depends more on how you walk ....
look down on the ground for icy patches ... step on places with more dirt (more friction) and avoid glazed looking patches .....
walk without forward momentem .... lean your body slightly forward ... oh and i know it's a hard habit to break ... it's a good idea NOT to put your hands in your coat pockets .... (though almost everyone do that ... ) ... you'd need you hands to break a fall eh ... found out the hard way ....
