I am in the UK. Yes, there are plenty of humpty Dumpties around, but beautiful women are not in short supply .Originally posted by littlestream:Wah, which part of the world is that?

I am beginning to like women with a little meat since they will usually have more of a cleavage. Nowhere near plump, just not anorexic.
Autumn here is just miserable. It just rains and rains and rains. Come winter they will grit the roads with some kind of salt. Good for melting ice, bad for the (increasingly disappearing) shiny bits on my scooter.
Oh, I forgot about the Humpty Dumpties.Originally posted by lwflee:I am in the UK. Yes, there are plenty of humpty Dumpties around, but beautiful women are not in short supply .

Oh, MG, hubby and I about share your sentiments. Time for me to get out the atlas in search of a retirement home.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:My favourite time of the year is mid-spring (around early- to mid-May) when most of the snow has melted and the trees begin to bud. The days get progressively longer and warmer, and there's actually enough daylight to do things outdoors after getting back from work.
Fall is nice too, especially when the colours change. But the anticipation of what comes after that, dilutes the joy of that season somewhat.
Winters, I merely tolerate, and summers can get friggin' hot.

In that case, I guess this is the best time of the year for you?Originally posted by Fatum:"Autumn is a second spring .... when every leaf is a flower .... " - Camus ...

Autumn is the season of romance ....... (whatever korean serials might try to tell people ....)
i hardly ever stare at the box over here .... other than late night news .... but mummy was a big fan back home ... what's that series called again ? .... winter sonata ? ....Originally posted by littlestream:In that case, I guess this is the best time of the year for you?
Huh? You subscribe to Talentvision ah? Still watching Korean serials?
Yeap, Winter Sonata and Hotelier.Originally posted by Fatum:i hardly ever stare at the box over here .... other than late night news .... but mummy was a big fan back home ... what's that series called again ? .... winter sonata ? ....
I like roaming along the rivers come autumn ..... but winter is nice too ..... i like the long trot home from school at 3am in the morning .... when the world is silent, other than the soft crunch of snow beneath your boots .... and you're all alone .... snowflakes drifting down gently from a crimson sky ..... lit by the yellow orbs of street lamps ......... i'd stand for a long while underneath the sky ..... and commune with the night .............
Nah, i am in Leicester.Originally posted by BrUtUs:where in uk r u? london?

well ... the school's in a pretty good neighbourhood ...... and besides ... it's too cold for would be muggers to be operating outside in winter eh ....Originally posted by lwflee:Nah, i am in Leicester.
And Fatum, aren't you afriad of getting mugged?
It depends. Because i live about 1km from the city centre, i really don't fancy my chances of walking home by the canal alone at night. Even if i do not meet any chav scum, i will surely meet drunks.Originally posted by Fatum:how are things in UK ? .... you'd get mugged walking home from school ? ..... i have a friend in Australia who went downstairs from his apartment one morning to find his car gone ! ....
