westjet ? ahh.. i was quoted $1550CAD 1 stop flight on air canada.
kk ! still looking around.. another option is a 2 stop flight on CX. i don't know. Flying to vancouver then hop on sq sounds like a pretty good option !Originally posted by Fatum:shop around .... i'd try to avoid air canada if i can ... bad bad experience .....
ohh.. argh ! this is what i hate.. having so many stop overs. British airways has flights to sg too.. its 1 stop in london but the waiting time for the next flight is 6 hours ! madness !Originally posted by DummiesInc:Took northwest from san fran and chicago before. Big no no. Although it stops over at narita, the difference in time isn't much as compared to stopping over at incheon. Ben, if you take SQ from vancouver, there will be a 1 hr stopover at incheon for refuelling. I remember only paying about $1600 for a 2 way from toronto to singapore via AC/SQ. Didn't have a good experience with AC though.
As for CX, it flies to alaska/HK/SG. AC flies Toronto/Vancouver/KL/SG I think. Cant remember cause flew it quite a few years back.
so far, my flights touching down at all the airports were all delayed so i had to run around the airports.. haven't got a chance to try anything at all. NWA is bad.. 2 of my flights here had engine problems.Originally posted by DummiesInc:Stop overs are good. Allows you to explore a new place, get up and do some real walking and eat some local stuff. I've tried almost everything at incheon airport
that seems like the best option now. sq is a direct flight to sg right ? as long as i don't need to go through the us, im ok with anything..Originally posted by DummiesInc:Take SQ confirm won't have to run around airport. Cause from the time AC touches down in vancouver to when SQ takes off, the lapse is about 3-4hrs, which gives u ample time to go BK for a meal, read a book, or buy some duty free stuff!
Ya confirm don't need to go through US. Toronto/Vancouver/Incheon - stop over 1 hr/SG. Should reach singapore about 11+pm.Originally posted by ben1406:that seems like the best option now. sq is a direct flight to sg right ? as long as i don't need to go through the us, im ok with anything..
