ahhh....just enjoy your time in hangzhuo. make the best of it, yah! everywhere we go, got good and bad. just take in both as it ultimately will be part of your life history.
at least u didn't lose the humour yet. i chuckle at that "speak louder" bit.

but yeah, I know what you mean ... you get to see the most interesting places, meet the most interesting people .... and west lake can be a pretty romantic place ...
you should take day trips around or something ... hangzhou to shanghai is but a train ride away ....

I know it's gonna be pretty. In fact school is bringing us to Westlake today but I gave it a miss and surf my net, do my work here. But I was thinking maybe one day before I come back to Singapore. I'll take a trip down myself and see the real beauty in it. I mean Westlake is such a nice and romantic place, going with a big group of noisy people will only spoil the fun. BOO

well, it's only been a week. it's natural to feel what you feel 'cos u sorta out of your comfort zone.
don't worry. give time. everything will fall into place. and also, see, feel and live with an open mind!!! you get to enjoy/gain the experience. even if it's something negative, you will learn from it.

Next term I'll be a junior... only thing is there are no illustration jobs in Singapore so even after I graduate I don't know if I'll go back to Singapore just yet. -
