Why your boyfriends are so possessive and ungentlemanly

I know of a girl, whose bf is so possessive, that when I called her to chat, can hear her bf background, saying what the fark did he say zzzzzzzzzz..........In other words, no guys can call her and chat with her over the phone. as for meeting, over his dead body.
I mean girls, do you want to marry such guys, who are so possessive and narrow minded and ungentlemanly to say the least?
Guys for goodness sake, stop being so possessive and restrict your gf on what she can do and cannot do. She is a human being, not a pet like a dog or cat.

Just don't call her every day la. Once in a while still okay. Though I won't be able to tolerate either =X

thats human nature for u. scared of losing their loved ones. even gers are also possessive, they wont like it when they see their bf talking to a ger over phone.= or even sms.

Sometimes you got to be smart and know where you are standing. Already different gender, you call up to chit chat can create a lot of misunderstandings. If so, why not avoid and not cause any trouble to the couple?
There is a thin fine line between platonic friendship. Not saying it cannot work, but you must know your boundaries. If you were a girl, things would have been a lot easier.
