  in singapore anybody who drive a vehicle(esp car,commercial vehicle) we simply need to pay n pay non stop..theres coe,insurance,erp,season parking,parking,fine n mny more..tas alot of money

  
  i wanna ask some qns?
  
  1)do u ppl display coupon when parking at hdb places?..hw about if u put 50 cts couponas u think wil b awile?..end up u wil b 1 hr plus?..wil u come down or display coupon again or jus ignore?
  
  2)those who have car in singapore wil not get away from fine like erp,parking(izit the most),LTA,traffic police? in 1 month..wil u all appeal?
  
  3)hw do u guys afford n survive?..or we all have no choice n jus need to pay..i compared to malaysia which car no coe and also parking easily n without paying too

  some learning lessons from season experience drivers:

  1. cash card top up $50 every time. check card balance everyday when off work.

  2. park car where your eyes can see and stay close to it.
  e.g. when drivers go to hawker centre/ coffeeshop/ toilet, they always try to find places where carpark is big enough and even when having meals/ drink coffee, can see the car right in front of them.

  3. if want to park car far away from your eyes, please put parking coupons.
  e.g. never put at all, immediate $30 fine straight away.
  put, but late less than 30 minutes, $6 fine.
  put, but late more than 30 minutes, $30 fine.

  4. some places after 5pm is free parking.... believe it, there are...
  e.g. District area of Arab Street

  5. always observe traffic rules, even when parking.
  e.g. even want to park on road side, they also find broken single white line.

  6. don't speed on highway, especially when nearing overhead bridges. TP officers sometimes stand there use mobile speed track camera detection guns.

  7. don't drive on bus lanes during bus lane timings, TP officers usually hide behind the advertisement poster stand with their camera.
