Last night around 2am I was travelling back home from Nicoll Highway to KPE. Enter in and travelled around 70km/h and unknowingly when I glanced at my speedometer again, I was at around 85km/h. I have read serval posts regarding this but I still have some questions in my mind as I am not sure I saw any flashes which got me really paranoid.
I was wondering, the car I drove is under my uncle's name & hence, if he receives any summons (touch wood) am I able to take the demerit points for him as I am the one driving? And also, for those of you guys who have received the letter before, how long does it take for it to arrive?
Well, if the letter comes, I'd have to pay up the fines and the points but I'd just let to clarify for this instance whether I can take up the demerit points as I've borrowed the car.
Please advise me.
Thanks & goodday!

When the summons come to your uncle, he has 7 days to fill in the particulars of the driver, if not him.
Even if he forgets, you can always write in or go down to TP and state you're the driver.
And doesn't mean just because you drove at 85 will get summons, if not within the speed camera, then nothing. Sometimes also speed camera might not be working.
Paranoid for what, not gonna solve anything, wait and see, within 5days to 2 weeks for the summons, if any. Then get busy.
Drive safely - Think of your loved ones
How do you all know when got snapped? Will the flash be in front or from the back? And, once received the letter, where to fill in my pariticulars?
It's really bright...
Does the speed camera capture the face of the driver?

I believe it is a rear pic.

Amos, you can actually go to the Singapore Police Force website to check for outstanding traffic offences. Don't need to be paranoia anymore and can rest at ease if its still not reflected in this site a couple of days after the incident.

...and if unfortunately, you do get a summon. You can also submit your particulars and make payment through the website as well.
