Hi guys I've finally got my license and I'm preparing to get a 2008 model of either both ~ I'm not really interested in which is faster but rather, which has better fuel consumtion ? Any users can reply me to this ?
Mazda RX8 generations are usually more fuel efficient than Hyundai tuscani generations.
both r drinkers... have u check out the insurance?
Mazda 13B MSP Twin Rotary engine. Imagine 1.3ltre and rotary.
VERSUS
Hyundai Tuscani - I assume is the 1.97 litre vesion and not the 2.7.
First things first, instead of just fuel consumption, you have to also take into account maintainence.
The fuel consumption is about the same. As one is 1.3 litre I assume non-turbo ? so its arund 190 BHP vs your Tuscani 139 BHP.
RX8 is light while the Tuscani is heavier.
Dont let the 1.3 litre be assumed for fuel effeciency. Its 1.3 in a rotary engine. If you talk about maintanence, Hyundai parts are more expensive than Mazda. The Mazda engine is more prone is break down after 100K kms.
I would recommend other choices of sports car.
okay thanks guys, how about the honda integra? any reviews on it?
And if lets say my fuel consumption is around 7km/L so about one week I will have to pump how many times of full tank ?
Honda Integra's are good cars. Personally a Honda fan. That or Nissan. heh.
Don't think there is a 2008 model integra, unless u take the Honda Civic Type R. Yes. R for Racing. :P An N/A engine with i-VTEC, churning out 200++ horsepower. And more fuel effecient than the RX 8 and the Tuscani. Not to mention cheaper parts.
But if u were to get an Integra, think the DC-5's are not bad. Ooops.. I forgot .. Type R version YES.. Jap spec. RSX is the Acura in the US.
Depends on your tank size I guess ? Then u do the maths. LOL
hey maro really thank you for the quick reply, because i've never bought a car before ~ so im still a newbie haha , anyway, if lets say 7km/L , how long can it go ? like lets say a week? how many times will i have to pump a full tank?
so if tank size is 1.3?? haha
and whats your view on the kia cerato koup? haha
Welcome.
1.3 ? lol... okay.. the Honda Jazz is the car if you are really really concerned about petrol. It's got the Vtec version i-VTEC i for injected. Its got some kick, sporty and got a nice boot space. Car like that can go 15km/L. Tank capacity is 42 Litres. So u do the maths.
RX - 8- is 12 km/L and that is on a highway. lol. Tank capacity about 60litres.
KIA ? Sorry. I gotta piss on it. :P
But okay la.. give them some credit now but still I wont buy a KIA
lets say if a mazda rx8, how many times will i have to pump a full tank if i use it as a daily drive? i dont really like hatchback actually~ and i really do not know much about cars and im not really concerned about bhp and stuff~ just looking for a nice looking car maro haha
and why are you pissed by kia? problematic?
now currently looking at peugeot 207cc haha any comments on this car?
Well, honestly.. how much fuel you have to pump will depend on the capacity of your fuel tank and more importantly the way you drive. Are u a fast braker ? hard braker ? hard accelerator ? Do you drive smooth ? fast ? rough ? Is your car automatic or manual ? How many gears does it have. What type of engine and how big your engine C.C is.
KIA's just suck. lol.
Peugeot not bad, expensive parts. Reasonably economy.
U want a nice looking car. That is so subjective. lol. Even a normal car after slapping on some veilside bodykit or deep dish or whatever will oomph the look of your car. I think most importantly is ... how much are u willing to spend. What is ur budget ? I can recommend all sorts of "nice" looking car.. but u gotta have the moolah for it.
Oh ok thanks for your reply ! I think my pick now is either the rx8 or the civic since you said it depends on the way I drive , so if I'm a smooth driver for the rx8? How many times roughly will I have to pump the fuel?
and how about integra? now only with second hand 2006 models~ then if so~ i'll only be able to drive for... 4 more years? or can i change the wear and tear parts and continue driving it?
