SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices for vehicles fell across the board in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday.
The biggest drop was in the big car category, where the premium fell S$6,834 to S$85,216.
The COE price for small cars also ended lower, falling S$4,599 to S$58,001.

category COE, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly
for big cars, retreated S$2,101 to close at S$86,889.
The COE price for commercial vehicles also dropped. It declined S$1,447 to S$57,106.
Meanwhile, the premium for motorcycles dipped S$131 to S$1,890.

The bike probably takes up about 6 sq foot of space.
So you are paying about $300 per sq foot for it.
Still cheaper than buying a hdb flat in terms of per sq foot. .

Maybe the LTA can compute how 1K SGD can pay for motorbike and say COE for personal transport is affordable since 1K SGD can buy HDB.
