  I am new here. I would like to seek advise regarding car sharing in singapore.

  Do you mean

  Car pooling?

   

  Example you want to car pool with someone who have a car to the same or similar destination, and pay a small token.

  I think there are website about car pooling in singapore. you can try go search.

  the closest thing to 'car sharing' i can think of is the way one taxi is driven by several taxi-drivers over various shifts.

  E.g. If your neighbour from the same block work at CBD area, you guys can meet meet up and go to work in a car.

  Adv: Saves petrol $$$, less congestions

  Dis: People whom you do not know at all.

   

  My module chair and programme chair stay together at the same block. So everyday they carpool and come to school. When going back, they carpool back home also.

  yeah...car pooling certainly makes sense when those involved can agree to an arrangement.

  do people taxi pool too? e.g. i want to go to pungol and fid out someone else is the same at taxi stand....we get into one cab then we work out the costs afterwards? do people do this? me dun take cab often.

  taxi pooling.. not very frequently seen in singapore.

  but last time when I at hospital taxi stand, got ask the people behind whether anyone going jurong, but don't have.

  next time if I got chance to taxi pool, i'll tell you how it work out for me

  there was this taxi pool scheme at lucky plaza last time u go to the board to press ur destination. if got fate then u get to share with someone. and a chance to make a new fwen. but apparently not working?
