very confused over BBDC

  hi guys

   

  im turning 18 in one month's time, wanted to get a driving license. but the regulations are really confusing me. can the old birds please help out?

   

  how many tests are there in total? (i know of the theory, practical etc but im still very confused)

  how to register? would really appreciate a blow by blow, step by step introduction

  usually how long from registration to license? (assuming pass at first go)

  any other special thing to take note of?

  basic theory, advance theory, and your practical test.

  go down to the sch, go to the counter and register.

  average for passing everything first time, assuming you book your test practical immediately after passing your advance theory will be about 6 months i guess, it really depends on the waiting time..

  First register yourself.

  Get the brochure, and go through it while waiting for you number to be called.

  After registration,  clear one hurdle at a time.

  Many who are keen to drive, just do it. One step at a time. Starting with registration.

  Go to service counter with IC...
  
  And enquire... they will give you a step by step booklet... and you will know everything....
  
  Basic theory, Advanced theory, Practical lessons (20x at least), Practical test...
  Basic theory class... advanced theory class.... for BBDC students....
  
  Estimated cost SGD 2,500.... Minimum 6 - 9 months at least.

  same boat, except i'm turning 18 in 19days. anyway, from what i've read, you go and register for BBDC. Go for i think 2/3 compulsory theory lessons for BTT. Get <90%, retake BTT. Go for FTT(not sure if lessons are needed) Pass FTT, go make PDL. Take PDL already, can start practical lessons. Quite a few stages i think. Take TP, pass, congrats, you can drive now. heard it costs 2.5k to 3k, depending on your passing/failing rate. though from what i heard if you are good and have time, you can actually pass in like 5-6 months IF you take lessons (almost) everyday.

  yes. got to be in person to register.

  They want to see your IC and test your eye sight and, collect the money.
