The Big Bookshop in Clementi branch had finally closed !

Follow by the closing of Border Bookshop in Wheellock, just recently the 20 years old history Big Bookshop in Clementi branch had follow Border 's footstep and closed on 16-4-2012. (Although the harbourfront branch still existed.) This famous bookshop had been previously featured in Channel 5 programme "Heartland Getaways " hosted by Chua Enlai. Anyone had any good memories of this longest servicing bookshop or just that as long as Xbox, Playstation is around, it is just part of history ?

thinks its going online too like amazon .com to all serious book sellers these days.just stick an old picture of it on second floor of clementi place on website to id it.

Just to add another point, nowadays even local "top" school are starting to use tablet instead of bringing hardcopy textbook to school for lesson. If MOE or more school are going to implement this kind of special learning methods, I think printing of textbook will be a thing of the past, so is the bookshop who is selling the textbook.
