My new Kindle 4! :D

I recently got my new Kindle 4 from Amazon! Since it costs less than a hundred USD, ($79), I thought it wouldn't be too risky to get one for my own use.Here are some pictures!
Pretty cool eh the packaging? Nice cardboard based box, I find it rather elegant and pleasing to the eye.
The box contains only a small instruction sheet, the Kindle itself and a USB connection to your computer. I was rather disappointed with the lack of a wall adapter, although I can charge the Kindle via the computer.
It is actually thinner than your average magazine, say the food mag Appetite, or the football mag FourFourTwo. It is also extremely light!
It has a nice matte silver finish on its back. Although I would have preferred a black casing like the old Kindle 3....
This is my Kindle during its 'sleep' mode.
Of course.. I had to pay extra to get a cover like that. The ones from amazon are a little pricey..
Surprise surprise... The Kindle can actually display pictures quite nicely. Crisp!
I will end off with one of my most favourite books!
It is a book really worth reading. Do buy it if you see it! :D -

kindle??i prefer a 7 inch tft lcd tv which has a dvd player in it and its $69 on sale at shops.

actually a dvd player has a usb input nowadays and u could download books from internet into a usb data card and later plug it into a dvd player.if its too small u could like zoom it....

no need lah, plug into smart TV can already mah, but why not watch Hitman movie rather than read about it. Read one page already ZZzzZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's nice. I think it's easier to read than the ipad...and ipad doesn't have the range of books this has.

i've got the Kindle 3 and i love reading out of it since i bought a cover with a reading light attached...
i think i went through over 50 books on it so far...
i got the bunch of books from downloads.. i want to buy some books but i think amazon refuses to sell e-books to singapore?

Hahaha yes yes, it comes with Wifi. I did not get the 3G model as the 3G capabilities cannot not work outside the US. Although the Kindle can't play videos....
It can also read PDF files.
