If the Singapore project fails, I propose a new merger with Malaysia.
This may be feasible if Malaysia changes its bumiputra policy or if the rights of the minorities in Singapore are guaranteed under treaty.
As the situation now stands, it is clear that nation building, national identity etc in Singapore has serious flaws.
We can say that some of the decisions made by PAP regime in the early years had left Singapore on a weak foundation when it comes to nation building and forging a national identity.
Although all this is clear, it is not likely that PAP regime will admit to its mistakes.
